You have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, along with 15 years of experience in software engineering leadership. Your expertise includes developing and operating large-scale infrastructure systems, particularly in cloud computing and AI/ML. You possess excellent communication and collaboration skills, enabling you to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Additionally, fluency in Mandarin is essential for supporting customers in the region.

You have a strong understanding of customer needs and can translate them into technical requirements and solutions. Your experience includes leading and managing high-performing engineering teams, effectively addressing customer escalations, and driving resolutions to complex technical issues. You are passionate about empowering customers with breakthrough capabilities and insights through AI and infrastructure at scale.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead a team of engineers focused on benchmarking, optimization, and providing advanced technical engagement for key customers in the region. You will drive dedicated feature requests for Google Cloud customers and provide engineering support where deep expertise is needed. Your responsibilities will include interacting with customers on-site to discuss product roadmaps and architecture, ensuring that the solutions provided meet their innovative and ambitious needs efficiently.

You will also manage process elements around space, talent, and budgets, ensuring that your team operates effectively and efficiently. Your leadership will be crucial in fostering a collaborative environment where engineers can thrive and deliver high-quality solutions.
