Overview

Google is hiring a Full Stack Engineer III for their Trust and Safety team to develop next-generation technologies. You'll work with Java, Python, and JavaScript to build scalable applications. This position requires 2 years of experience in software development.

Job Description

Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, along with at least 2 years of experience in software development using one or more programming languages. Your background includes full-stack development, with expertise in backend technologies such as Java, Python, Golang, or C++, and front-end skills in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS. You are familiar with data structures and algorithms and have experience developing accessible technologies. You are versatile and enthusiastic about tackling new challenges across the full stack, contributing to projects that are critical to Google’s needs.

Desirable

A Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical fields is preferred, along with experience in large-scale system design and distributed computing. Familiarity with security, artificial intelligence, and natural language processing would be advantageous.

What you'll do

As a Full Stack Engineer III, you will work on specific projects that are vital to Google’s Trust and Safety initiatives. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable applications that handle information at massive scale. Your responsibilities will include contributing to existing documentation, ensuring best practices in code quality, and debugging product or system issues.
