Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. With 15 years of experience delivering hyperscale cloud services to enterprise customers, you have a strong focus on storage and platform development. Your experience includes working with supplier and partner teams to build solutions that harness capabilities created outside your direct sphere of influence. You have a proven track record of managing third-party vendors and enabling solutions in a product portfolio. Your ability to think strategically allows you to enable teams to deliver management solutions that are effective at scale. You excel in operating within and leading cross-functional teams, developing relationships with external partners, and negotiating focusing on storage products. You possess excellent leadership, organizational, and stakeholder management skills, thriving in a fast-paced, cross-functional, global team environment.

What you'll do

In this role, you will contribute to the long-term strategy and innovation of Google Cloud Storage and infrastructure. As a strategic thought leader, you will work closely with customer-facing Googlers, partners, and customers to ensure the continued reduction of friction and drive adoption. You will be responsible for influencing infrastructure offerings and collaborating with executive leaders within Cloud. Your role will involve developing joint business plans in complex, ambiguous environments, and driving business success internally and for the customer. You will translate complexity and explain sophisticated analysis and methodologies to both engineering and business stakeholders, ensuring alignment across teams.
