With at least 3 years in a technical leadership role and 2 years in people management, you are well-versed in guiding teams to success. Desirable

What you'll do

As a Software Engineer Manager II, you will lead a team of engineers across multiple locations, guiding them in the development of innovative solutions for Top of Rack Infrastructure. You will manage project goals, contribute to product strategy, and ensure that your team is equipped to tackle the challenges of large-scale system design and deployment. Your role will involve reviewing code developed by other engineers, providing feedback to ensure best practices are followed, and helping to design systems that meet future infrastructure needs.

You will be responsible for writing product or system development code to solve ambiguous problems, and you will play a key role in vetting systems designs within the broader scope of your area. Your leadership will help shape the direction of projects and ensure that your team is aligned with Google's overarching goals. You will also be involved in mentoring engineers, helping them to grow their skills and advance their careers.
