Your background includes at least 3 years of experience building and developing large-scale infrastructure or distributed systems, and you have spent 3 years in a technical leadership role, guiding teams towards success. You also have 2 years of experience in people management or team leadership, demonstrating your ability to foster a collaborative environment.

You thrive in complex, matrixed organizations and understand the nuances of managing projects that span multiple teams and locations. Your technical expertise allows you to provide leadership on major projects while also optimizing your own code and ensuring that your engineers can optimize theirs. What you'll do

As a Software Engineering Manager II at Google, you will lead a team of engineers in the Infrastructure domain, guiding them through the complexities of software development and system design.
