Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical field, along with 15 years of experience in a customer-facing role. Your expertise lies in working with stakeholders to architect, develop, or maintain cloud solutions in various cloud environments. You have spent at least 5 years managing or developing technical teams, focusing on performance management and hiring. Your experience includes working with C-level executives to translate business requirements into technical strategies, showcasing your strong communication skills in both English and Korean.

You possess a deep understanding of enterprise architecture principles, including Security, Network, and Compute, as well as modern operational frameworks such as SRE, DevOps, and FinOps. You are adept at navigating ambiguity and leading teams through organizational change while driving operational excellence and consistency. Your excellent communication, presentation, problem-solving, and people management skills make you a strong candidate for this role.

Desirable

An MBA or Master’s degree in a Management, Technical, or Engineering field would be a plus. Experience leading large-scale cloud transformation organizations or Technical Account Management functions is highly valued. Participation in Architecture Review Boards (ARBs) and influencing product engineering priorities based on customer feedback is also desirable.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be the technical heartbeat of the Google Cloud Consulting team, ensuring that customers adopt and integrate Google Cloud’s technology to transform their businesses. You will advocate for customers at scale by partnering with Product and Engineering leadership to shape strategic roadmaps. Your responsibilities will include resolving systemic reliability themes and prioritizing enterprise-grade feature requirements across the portfolio. You will act as a definitive advisor during mission-critical events, restoring stability and securing trust.

You will lead technical teams, managing performance and fostering a culture of excellence. Your role will involve collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure that customer needs are met and that cloud solutions are effectively implemented. You will also be responsible for driving operational excellence and consistency within the team, ensuring that all processes align with best practices in cloud management.
