Who you are
You are currently enrolled in compulsory legal training and have completed your first legal state exam. You communicate fluently in both English and German, which is essential for managing client relationships in this region. Your experience includes legal analysis and research, and you have a keen interest in technology and IT-relevant legal issues. You thrive in fast-paced environments and can manage multiple projects simultaneously, demonstrating strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Desirable
Experience in data protection, copyright, technology, or media law is preferred. You have a track record of building relationships and communicating effectively with individuals at all levels, showcasing your interpersonal skills. Your interest in recent developments in internet law aligns with the innovative environment at Google.
What you'll do
As a Legal Trainee, you will be part of the Google regional Legal team, responding to various legal challenges that arise in the information age. You will assist in managing court actions and preparing legal documents, gaining insight into a variety of legal topics including intellectual property, consumer regulations, and media regulations. Your role will involve responding to legal requests from users and third parties related to Google services, contributing to the creation and maintenance of internal knowledge databases for the Legal team. You will enhance your legal judgment and learn to navigate complex legal landscapes while promoting the development of internet law in an unconventional environment.
