Job Description
Who you are
You have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. With 4 years of experience, you are proficient in JavaScript and Web Services Technology, including REST and SOAP. You have experience in Python or Java programming, focusing on object-oriented principles, and are familiar with Google Cloud or other public cloud platforms.
You have a strong background in implementing, customizing, or integrating third-party applications within business enterprise software. A Master's degree in Computer Science or related technical fields is preferred, along with experience related to Supply Chain and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP). You are knowledgeable about the Flask framework for building web applications and understand Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment pipelines.
What you'll do
In this role, you will lead all aspects of web development, including requirements gathering, software development, testing, documentation, training, implementation, ongoing support, and maintenance for both in-house and customer-facing web applications. You will work closely with a cross-functional team of Googlers, using UI and functional specs/prototypes as input to drive innovation and meet user and customer needs.
You will identify, assess, estimate, and solve complex business challenges, where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors, including security. Your responsibilities will include developing, building, and deploying applications using various platforms and technologies, while collaborating with analysts to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
