Overview

Google is hiring a Field Sales Representative for their Growth team to drive cloud solutions sales. You'll leverage your experience in B2B software sales and account management to build strong partnerships with customers. This role requires 4+ years of experience in quota-carrying sales.

Job Description

Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, along with 4 years of experience in quota-carrying cloud or software sales, or account management at a B2B software company. Your background includes experience selling cloud solutions, infrastructure software, databases, analytic tools, or applications software to startups or digital native organizations. You understand the challenges these businesses face and can align technology solutions to drive high-value business outcomes.

You have a proven track record of growing an existing customer base and acquiring new logos at scale, which has helped increase spend and accelerate the consumption business. Your experience includes working with and leading cross-functional internal teams, such as business development, customer engineers, and partner sales, in complex implementation projects and negotiations. You excel at cultivating and maintaining C-level relationships to build strong partnerships and effectively sell cloud solutions, demonstrating your ability to influence at the executive level.

What you'll do

In this role, you will play a key part in understanding the needs of customers and developing business growth opportunities. You will work cross-functionally with multiple teams and Google partners to maximize business impact within startup customers. Managing complex business cycles will be a significant part of your responsibilities, as you present to C-level executives and negotiate terms that benefit both parties. You will drive business development efforts, forecast accurately, and achieve strategic goals by leading customers through the entire business cycle, ensuring they see the benefits of Google Cloud technology come to life.
