Job Description
Who you are
You hold a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or a related technical field, and you have at least 2 years of experience in embedded or mobile system design. Your background includes hardware architecture, board design, and product NPI technical environments, or you have 1 year of experience with an advanced degree. You are familiar with low power and battery-powered embedded mobile designs and have experience with a broad range of Printed Circuit Board (PCB) technologies, including rigid flex. You are eager to be part of a team that pushes boundaries and develops custom silicon solutions that power the future of Google's direct-to-consumer products.
What you'll do
In this role, you will contribute to the innovation behind products loved by millions worldwide. Your expertise will shape the next generation of hardware experiences, delivering unparalleled performance, efficiency, and integration. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop hardware architecture for next-generation systems. Your responsibilities will include designing, implementing, debugging, and characterizing embedded systems geared for mobile applications. You will lead new design concepts through exploration, prototyping, development, and into mass production, working closely with software, mechanical engineering, industrial design, and outside partners.
