Who you are

You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or a related technical field, and you have at least 2 years of experience working in a consumer electronics or embedded systems design environment. You are comfortable with international travel up to 10% of the time and have a strong foundation in embedded systems and processor selection. Your educational background may include a Master's degree or PhD, which is preferred but not required.

You have hands-on experience with various communication protocols such as DRAM, UFS, USB-C, SPI, I2C/I3C, UART, MIPI, and DSI/CSI. Your expertise extends to analog design, sensor design, and low power design, as well as audio acoustics. You are familiar with tools like Cadence/Allegro and have experience with RF technologies. Your skills also include prototype bring-up and debugging, functional verification, and Python scripting, which are essential for this role.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be part of a team that pushes boundaries in developing custom silicon solutions that power Google's direct-to-consumer products. You will execute design verification, signal characterization, power delivery, and interoperability testing while defining system-level validation plans for the Pixel ecosystem. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will resolve issues related to hardware architecture, system performance, production quality, and overall integration. Your contributions will help shape the next generation of hardware experiences, delivering unparalleled performance and efficiency.
