Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience and at least 2 years of experience in software development using one or more programming languages. With a strong foundation in machine learning infrastructure, you've worked on model deployment, evaluation, and optimization, and have a solid understanding of core Generative AI concepts such as LLMs and multi-modal models. Your experience includes generating text, images, videos, or audio, and you are familiar with data structures and algorithms, which you have applied in real-world scenarios.

You possess a Master's degree and have accumulated 5 years of experience in software development or machine learning. You have tested, maintained, or launched software products for at least 3 years and have experience with software design and architecture. Your knowledge of Generative AI techniques, including language modeling and computer vision, is complemented by your proficiency in machine learning algorithms and tools like TensorFlow. You are comfortable working in a collaborative environment and have a passion for developing innovative solutions.

What you'll do

As a Machine Learning Engineer III at Google, you will lead the development of AI/ML features for Google Cloud, collaborating with cross-functional teams to bring model capabilities to life. You will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable machine learning solutions that handle massive amounts of data. Your role will involve optimizing model performance and ensuring that the infrastructure supports the deployment of advanced AI features.

You will work closely with product managers and other engineers to define requirements and deliver high-quality software products. Your responsibilities will include debugging complex systems, conducting performance evaluations, and iterating on models to improve their accuracy and efficiency. You will also mentor junior engineers, sharing your expertise in machine learning and software development practices.
