Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience and at least 6 years of experience in cloud native architecture, ideally in a customer-facing or support role. Your background includes cloud engineering, on-premise engineering, and expertise in virtualization or containerization platforms. You are comfortable presenting to technical stakeholders and executive leaders, showcasing your ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively.

Your experience extends to programming languages, debugging, systems design, and prototyping, which allows you to engage deeply with customers during workshops and demos. You have a strong understanding of security concepts, including encryption, identity management, and access control, which is crucial for promoting technical solutions in cloud environments.

Desirable

You have a proven track record in promoting technical solutions related to infrastructure and application modernization, data management, and cloud AI. Your experience managing the business cycle, from defining delivery plans to transitioning them for execution, sets you apart. You are skilled in building technical strategies that uncover new workloads with customers and have hands-on experience migrating applications and services to cloud platforms.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be part of the Google Cloud Platform team, helping customers transform their businesses with cloud technology. You will lead technical engagements during the solution phase, ensuring that customer needs are met and that delivery plans are effectively executed. Your responsibilities will include facilitating post-business transitions, supporting pricing activities, and maintaining awareness of progress against delivery plans.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams during ramp-up, delivery, migration, or implementation phases, ensuring that all stakeholders are aligned and informed. Your role will require you to stay updated on the latest cloud technologies and trends, enabling you to provide the best solutions to customers. You will also be responsible for fostering strong relationships with clients, understanding their challenges, and providing tailored solutions that drive their success.
