Overview

Google is hiring a Silicon NPI Planner to manage the complex supply chain and logistics network for new product introductions in the semiconductor industry. You'll work with logistics operations, data analysis, and cross-functional teams to ensure product development requirements are met.

Job Description

Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, or equivalent practical experience — your educational background has equipped you with the foundational knowledge necessary for managing supply chains effectively. With at least 2 years of experience in NPI supply chain management within the semiconductor industry, you understand the intricacies of product development and the importance of material readiness. Your experience working with foundries and OSATs has given you a global perspective on coordinating supply chains, and you thrive in a multinational corporate environment.

You possess a strong understanding of global logistics operations, including import/export compliance and customs clearance — these skills enable you to manage shipments efficiently between vendors and engineering teams. Your ability to analyze data and visualize it through dashboards allows you to drive data-backed decision-making, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and aligned.

Desirable

You have experience managing complex logistics in a high-velocity corporate environment — your crisis management skills and rapid problem-solving abilities are assets that help you navigate challenges effectively. Working with cross-functional stakeholders and external vendors is second nature to you, and you excel in fostering collaboration across teams.

What you'll do

In this role, you will manage the planning strategy for new product introductions, bridging demand changes and adjusting forecasts dynamically. You will create infrastructure for execution, establishing reporting statuses, allocation metrics, and tracking tools to ensure process transparency and efficiency. Your responsibilities will include executing global shipment operations, coordinating the movement of materials to and from vendors and between engineering teams, and ensuring compliance with import/export regulations for on-time delivery.

You will be part of a team that pushes boundaries, developing custom silicon solutions that power the future of Google's direct-to-consumer products. Your expertise will shape the next generation of hardware experiences, delivering unparalleled performance, efficiency, and integration. You will contribute to the innovation behind products loved by millions worldwide, ensuring that the silicon powering these data centers is delivered on schedule and meets all product development requirements.

What we offer

At Google, you will be part of a dynamic team that values innovation and collaboration. We encourage you to apply even if your experience doesn't match every requirement — your unique perspective could be the key to our success. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, along with opportunities for professional growth and development in a supportive environment. Join us in shaping the future of technology and making a meaningful impact on the world.
