Overview

Google is hiring a Technical Program Manager II to lead complex new product introduction projects in cloud infrastructure. Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience and at least 2 years of experience in program or project management. Your background includes working through the full new product development phase, from forecasting to production ramp and end-of-life processes. You have experience with hardware New Product Introduction (NPI) at an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), collaborating closely with design engineering and supply chain or manufacturing teams.

You are skilled in managing cross-functional or cross-team projects, with a focus on creating hardware product data structuring, including part numbers and BOMs. Your experience extends to managing product life cycles and utilizing change management in Product Data Management (PDM) and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems. You are adept at reviewing, approving, and implementing Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) into manufacturing and the field.

You possess strong analytical skills, enabling you to perform root cause analysis and troubleshoot issues with internal software systems, setups, or data. You believe that a problem isn’t truly solved until it’s resolved for all stakeholders involved. Your technical expertise allows you to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish, ensuring clear communication with stakeholders throughout the process.

Desirable

Experience with spreadsheets and conditional logic formulas is a plus, as is familiarity with running commands. You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and can adapt to changing project requirements while maintaining a focus on quality and efficiency.

What you'll do

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you will lead the planning and execution of new product introduction projects, coordinating resources and establishing project goals. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to create manufacturing instructions and gather feedback for design improvements.
