Who you are
You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience and at least 2 years of experience developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems, or networks. Your programming experience includes proficiency in C++ or Go, and you have a solid understanding of compute technologies, storage, or hardware architecture. You are versatile and enthusiastic about tackling new challenges across the full-stack, demonstrating leadership qualities in your work. You thrive in collaborative environments and are eager to contribute to innovative projects that impact billions of users.
Desirable
A Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical fields is preferred, along with additional experience in developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed storage systems, or I/O intensive applications. Familiarity with information retrieval, distributed computing, and data storage will set you apart as a candidate.
What you'll do
As a Software Engineer III at Google, you will join the cold storage team in Infrastructure Storage, focusing on building the future of cold data storage.
