Your background includes experience in testing, maintaining, and launching software products or infrastructure, and you are familiar with compute technologies. You possess strong debugging and troubleshooting skills, particularly in diagnosing issues within distributed systems. You thrive in collaborative environments and are eager to contribute to community-driven projects.

What you'll do

As a Systems Development Engineer II at Google, you will manage services and systems at scale, focusing on automating mundane tasks to enhance operational efficiency. You will work closely with peers across your team and adjacent teams to ensure timely delivery of assigned projects. Your role will involve understanding user needs and delivering solutions that meet those needs, contributing to customer advocacy. You will support the team in maintaining and enhancing product, engineering, operational, and support excellence to ensure reliable and high-performance operations. Your contributions will help shape the tools and solutions that address classes of problems, emphasizing observability and data-driven decision-making.
