Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related IT field, or equivalent practical experience. With at least 2 years of experience in systems automation, you understand the intricacies of managing technical infrastructure, including deployment, maintenance, and troubleshooting. Your background includes experience in testing, maintaining, and launching software products or infrastructure, and you are familiar with compute technologies. You possess strong debugging and troubleshooting skills, particularly in diagnosing issues within distributed systems. You thrive in collaborative environments and are eager to contribute to community-driven projects.

What you'll do

As a Systems Development Engineer II at Google, you will manage services and systems at scale, focusing on automating mundane tasks to enhance operational efficiency. You will work closely with peers across your team and adjacent teams to ensure timely delivery of assigned projects. Your role will involve understanding user needs and delivering solutions that meet those needs, contributing to customer advocacy.
