Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience, along with at least 2 years of experience in program management. Your background includes hands-on experience with data center equipment and operations, which gives you a solid foundation for this role. You are adept at managing cross-functional projects and possess a keen understanding of network architecture. Your problem-solving skills are complemented by your ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

You are comfortable leading complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You can explain analyses and recommendations to executives while also discussing technical trade-offs with engineers. Your subject matter knowledge relevant to data center technologies allows you to drive engineering decisions that have a positive business impact. You thrive in environments where collaboration is key, and you enjoy working with diverse teams to achieve common goals.

Desirable

Experience with building information modeling (BIM) software is a plus, as is familiarity with facility implementation planning. You are proactive in identifying risks and managing project schedules, ensuring that all aspects of the project are aligned with business objectives. Your ability to develop detailed 2D and 3D drawings using CAD software will be invaluable in this role.

What you'll do

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you will lead data center projects that involve facility implementation planning and the development of deployment standards. You will be responsible for detailed data analysis and making corresponding recommendations that drive project success. Your role will require you to work closely with stakeholders to plan requirements and identify risks, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within scope.
