Job Description
Who you are
You hold a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Environmental Management, Geology, Biology, Meteorology, or a related field, and you have at least 2 years of experience in technical program management within EMEA. Your experience includes supporting or conducting environmental due diligence for new site selection, and you are well-versed in environmental permitting and regulatory compliance. You possess excellent communication and time management skills, along with strong problem-solving and project management abilities. You are comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams and engaging with executive-level stakeholders, and you have a solid understanding of EMEA environmental regulations and their implications for data centers and mission-critical infrastructure.
Desirable
A Master's degree in a relevant field is preferred, along with experience in communicating with regional and national authorities regarding EHS issues. Your ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with diverse teams will set you apart in this role.
What you'll do
As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you will lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations across various locations. You will work closely with stakeholders to plan project requirements, identify risks, manage schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners. Your role will involve leading environmental permitting, investigations, and assessments to support compliance with EMEA country-specific regulations for data centers. You will contribute to the regional and global tracking of milestones and deliverables for environmental and regulatory compliance, ensuring that all projects align with Google's commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility.
