You have a solid background in environmental compliance, with experience managing regulatory requirements across various jurisdictions. Your understanding of air, water, and waste management regulations is complemented by your ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders and provide training to ensure compliance. You thrive in collaborative environments and are committed to fostering an inclusive workplace culture.
You possess a fundamental understanding of environmental management systems and can identify environmental aspects that impact compliance. Your proactive approach allows you to work independently while representing Microsoft to both internal and external customers. You are eager to learn new tools and collaborate with other Environmental Program Managers globally, contributing to your professional growth.
What you'll do
As the Environmental Compliance Program Manager, you will oversee the full spectrum of regulatory environmental requirements for Microsoft data centers in the Americas. This includes ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, with a focus on air, water, and waste management. You will identify environmental aspects and communicate these requirements to all stakeholders, ensuring that everyone is informed and trained on compliance matters.
You will actively participate in compliance audits and assessments, working closely with third-party environmental consultants to maintain high standards. Your role will involve developing and delivering training programs, both online and in-person, to ensure that all employees understand their responsibilities regarding environmental compliance. You will also collaborate with various teams to implement best practices and drive continuous improvement in environmental performance.
