Who you are
You have a Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience, along with 2 years of experience in program management. Your background includes working on large-scale infrastructure projects, whether in software, hardware, data centers, or networking. You are comfortable managing cross-functional or cross-team projects and understand that a problem isnβt truly solved until itβs resolved for all stakeholders involved.
As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you possess the technical expertise to lead complex projects from start to finish. You excel in planning requirements, identifying risks, and managing project schedules. Your communication skills allow you to articulate analyses and recommendations to executives while discussing technical tradeoffs with engineers. You thrive in environments where collaboration is key, and you are adept at working with various stakeholders to drive impact.
What you'll do
In this role, you will lead the Core team, which builds the technical foundation behind Googleβs flagship products. You will define the scope of projects and develop, execute, and manage project plans for supported programs. Your responsibilities will include reviewing key metrics pertaining to programs, monitoring potential deviations, and defining corrective actions for critical deviations. You will identify, communicate, and collaborate with relevant stakeholders within one or more teams to ensure mutual goals are met. Your work will contribute to creating opportunities for everyone, whether down the street or across the globe.
