Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience, along with 10 years of technical program management work experience. Your background includes managing complex cross-functional or cross-team projects, showcasing your ability to exercise technical judgment and influence team members in solving software engineering challenges. You understand that a problem isn’t truly solved until it’s addressed for all stakeholders involved. You are comfortable explaining analyses and recommendations to executives while discussing technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers. Your experience has equipped you with the skills to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish, ensuring that all aspects are considered and executed effectively.

Desirable

You have a proven track record of driving measurable program performance gains correlated to execution velocity. As a change advocate, you have initiated and led multiple organizations through pivots needed to address shifts in business trends and priorities. Your strategic planning skills enable you to manage a complex program portfolio, including direct influence over resourcing decisions, planning cadence, and stakeholder engagement.

What you'll do

In your role as a Senior Technical Program Manager II at Google, you will lead the Core team, which builds the technical foundation behind Google’s flagship products. You will work closely with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your responsibilities will include driving the execution of projects, ensuring that all teams are aligned and working towards common goals.
