Who you are
You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, along with 4 years of interaction design experience in product design or UX design. Your portfolio showcases your ability to create intuitive and engaging user experiences, demonstrating your skills in user flows, high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes. You possess excellent collaboration and communication skills, allowing you to effectively present design work to various audiences. Your experience includes leading design projects and working in cross-functional organizations, which has equipped you with a strong understanding of how to navigate complex design challenges.
Desirable
A Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred. You have experience building and contributing to a design system that ensures cross-platform consistency and quality. Your storytelling skills enable you to communicate design positions effectively and challenge partners with innovative design thinking.
What you'll do
As a UX Designer at Google, you will take complex tasks and make them intuitive and easy to use for billions of users worldwide. You will be involved in the entire design process, from creating user flows and wireframes to building user interface mockups and prototypes. Your role will require you to envision how users will experience Google products and bring that vision to life in a way that feels inspired and refined. You will collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams of UX Designers, Researchers, Writers, and Program Managers to drive product impact and ensure high design quality across the product path. You will also prioritize team success by fostering a welcoming environment, helping teammates, and coaching other designers.
