Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, along with 8 years of experience as a Manufacturing, Quality, Reliability, or Product Engineer. Your background includes 5 years of experience developing supply chains in manufacturing and testing, and you have worked with Original Device Manufacturers (ODMs) and contract manufacturers. You possess a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, which is preferred, and have 10 years of experience in the industry. Your expertise includes driving root cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous process improvements, as well as hands-on experience with hardware testing in a lab environment.

You are knowledgeable in SQL queries and have experience scripting in Python or Bash. You are passionate about pushing boundaries and developing innovative solutions that power the future of consumer products. Your collaborative spirit allows you to work effectively with cross-functional teams, ensuring that product performance meets the highest standards.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be part of the Machine Learning Supply Chain and Operations (MLSCO) team, responsible for deploying Machine Learning capacity in Google’s Fleet. You will lead cross-functional program planning and execution to deliver next-generation Machine Learning systems from concept to end of life. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with Quality and Reliability Engineers to establish New Product Introduction (NPI) and production goals for yield, validating product qualification plans, and supporting reliability testing.

You will also be tasked with identifying manufacturing risks and developing mitigation plans to ensure product quality during NPI build phases. Your role will involve driving continuous process improvements and ensuring that the products meet performance requirements. You will work closely with contract manufacturers and suppliers to enhance the overall supply chain efficiency and effectiveness.
