You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience and at least 4 years of experience in product marketing or a similar role within consumer tech, particularly with hardware products. You possess a strong understanding of the developer ecosystem and have experience in consumer marketing and insights, ideally in consumer hardware or products with fixed launch timelines.
You are skilled in delivering high production quality and managing high-profile B2B events, demonstrating your ability to create impactful marketing experiences. Your analytical skills allow you to assess products, customers, and market dynamics, enabling you to create thought leadership content in various formats. You have excellent problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and project and budget management skills, which are essential for executing successful marketing initiatives.
What you'll do
In this role, you will focus on driving the success of Google's developer platforms, such as Android and Google Assistant, by delivering scalable marketing programs, events, and creative campaigns aimed at engaging software engineers and developers. You will collaborate closely with product marketing managers, engineers, and designers to own and execute a wide range of marketing initiatives. Your passion for innovative software technology will be crucial as you work to understand how developers utilize Google's APIs and tools to achieve business growth.
You will be responsible for producing high-quality content to support developers, including pitch decks, event content, case studies, and e-learning resources. Additionally, you will localize global content and scale local best practices, ensuring that marketing efforts resonate with diverse audiences. Your role will involve tracking impact, reporting on outcomes, and sharing best practices across teams to enhance overall marketing effectiveness.
