Who you are

You have a strong background in developer advocacy or a related field, with experience in creating documentation and enabling developers to succeed on a platform. You understand the importance of community building and have a knack for engaging with developers to foster a vibrant ecosystem around a product. You are driven by creativity and excited about the potential of Generative AI, and you possess excellent communication skills that allow you to convey complex ideas clearly and effectively.

You are familiar with lifecycle marketing strategies and have experience launching behavior-based communications that guide users through their journey. You have a passion for technology and a desire to empower others, making you an ideal fit for a role that focuses on enhancing the developer experience. You are adaptable and can thrive in a fast-paced environment, working collaboratively with product and engineering teams to improve user experiences.

What you'll do

In this role, you will own the end-to-end activation and completion funnel for our partner and customer builders. Your core mission will be to significantly shorten the time to first value for developers, enabling them to build independently on our platform. You will design and build our documentation information architecture, creating a high-quality, comprehensive set of resources for our developers and builders. You will also launch and manage behavior-based lifecycle communications, such as welcome series and activation nudges, to guide developers through the funnel.

Additionally, you will be responsible for launching and growing a vibrant developer community, showcasing successful projects, and generating valuable case studies. You will work closely with Product and Engineering teams to improve the first-time user experience with in-product checklists and contextual documentation. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring that developers feel supported and empowered to leverage Ema's technology effectively.
