Who you are
You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, along with 11 years of industry experience in digital advertising, consultative sales, business development, or digital marketing. If you hold an advanced degree, 8 years of experience is sufficient. Your background includes working with advertisers, agencies, or clients, and you excel at building trusted-advisor relationships with C-level executives. You are adept at managing multiple projects, business leads, and internal stakeholders, ensuring that all parties are aligned and informed.
Your expertise in Google Ad Solutions is complemented by a strong understanding of video advertising, including AI-powered Performance and Video, as well as Connected TV (CTV). You have a keen awareness of the competitive landscape across traditional and digital media advertising, which allows you to effectively position Google’s offerings. You possess the ability to sell and propose creative technologies across a diverse range of decision-makers, adapting your approach to meet their unique needs.
You thrive in ambiguous environments, developing joint business plans that drive success for both customers and Google. Your tactical thinking skills and systems thinking enable you to align strategies that deliver impactful business outcomes. You are passionate about sales and have a deep knowledge of online media, committed to maximizing customer success. You act like an owner, moving swiftly through change and finding innovative ways to achieve extraordinary results for both Google and your clients.
What you'll do
In this role, you will drive continuous improvement in sales processes, focusing on pipeline hygiene, opportunity sizing, forecasting, and execution. You will be viewed as a vertical expert, translating market trends and Google’s AI, Search, and Video tools into innovative business opportunities. Your responsibilities will include uncovering clients' business needs and understanding their organizational objectives, challenges, and industry dynamics. You will become their indispensable business advisor, guiding them through the complexities of digital advertising.
You will collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure that client needs are met and that Google’s solutions are effectively implemented. Your role will involve influencing and collaborating across organizations to drive business success. You will also be responsible for managing relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring that all parties are aligned and informed throughout the sales process.
