Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, along with 5 years of experience managing projects and defining project scope, goals, and deliverables. Your background includes 5 years of experience in data analysis, where you've identified trends, generated summary statistics, and drawn insights from both quantitative and qualitative data. You have experience working with Google's products and services, particularly in generative AI products, which gives you a unique perspective on the challenges faced in this role.

Your technical skills include proficiency in SQL and experience in building dashboards, data collection, transformation, and visualization. You are also familiar with scripting or programming languages, particularly Python. Your knowledge of content moderation policies and best practices is a significant asset, as is your ability to solve problems with attention to detail in an ever-changing environment. You thrive in a collaborative setting, working globally and cross-functionally with engineers and product managers to tackle abuse and fraud cases at Google speed.

What you'll do

As a Senior Engineering Analyst, you will play a crucial role in developing tailored testing approaches, tools, and solutions to enhance user safety. You will execute tests and analyze model outputs to inform improvement areas and safety mechanisms. Your responsibilities will include establishing testing to discover residual and emergent risks, defining program metrics, and communicating insights to stakeholders to evolve the program. You will work closely with team members to identify and address the biggest challenges that threaten the safety and integrity of Google products, ensuring that user trust is maintained.
