Google is hiring a Senior Integration Engineer to lead technical solution delivery and project management in Google Cloud. You'll work with programming languages like Python and Java, and technologies such as Kubernetes and Hadoop. This role requires 8 years of experience in solution engineering and project management.

Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience, along with 8 years of experience in solution engineering or architecture. With 7 years of experience in project management and technical solution delivery, you are proficient in writing code in one or more programming languages, such as Python and Java. Your background includes 5 years of experience in stakeholder management, professional services, or technical consulting, showcasing your ability to navigate complex client interactions.

You possess a strong understanding of Networking, DevOps, Security, Compute, Storage, and have hands-on experience with Hadoop and Kubernetes. Your expertise extends to AI/ML Infrastructure, including frameworks like JAX, PyTorch, or OpenXLA. You are comfortable with travel, willing to go up to 50% of the time, and have excellent communication, writing, presentation, and problem-solving skills.

Desirable

A Master’s degree in Computer Science, Technology, Business, or Engineering is preferred. Experience in specialized domains such as advanced networking and storage, including system design of load balancers, firewalls, VPN, and production-grade storage, will set you apart. Additionally, familiarity with accelerated computing, including Kubernetes, GKE, EKS, and GPU workloads, is a plus.

What you'll do

In this role, you will guide customers through their cloud journey, helping them transform and evolve their business using Google’s global network and best practices. You will work closely with internal specialists, product, and engineering teams to package approaches and implement lessons learned into methodologies and published assets. Your responsibilities will include managing project scope, priorities, deliverables, risks, and timelines to ensure successful client outcomes.

You will interact with sales, partners, and customer technical stakeholders, ensuring that all aspects of the project align with client expectations. Your role will require you to understand, debug, and contribute to existing complex software systems, making your technical expertise crucial for the success of the projects you oversee.
