Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, along with 8 years of experience in product management or a related technical role. You have a proven track record of taking technical products from conception to launch, demonstrating your ability to manage the entire product lifecycle from ideation to execution. Your experience includes developing or launching infrastructure products or technologies within areas such as networking, storage, compute hardware, databases, file systems, data analytics, and cluster management. You possess strong cross-functional collaboration skills, having worked with engineering, UX/UI, sales finance, and other stakeholders for at least 5 years. You are comfortable preparing and delivering technical presentations to senior leadership and have a solid background in software development or engineering.

Desirable

A Master's degree in a technology or business-related field is preferred, along with 3 years of people management experience with direct reports and in technical leadership. You are adaptable and excited to work on products that affect millions of users, continuously seeking to improve and innovate.

What you'll do

In this role, you will work cross-functionally to guide products from conception to launch, connecting the technical and business worlds. You will manage the validation of market size and opportunity, ensuring that you identify user-based and strategic opportunities for revenue generation. Your responsibilities will include leading and harmonizing processes to define, identify, collect, and track appropriate product or business metrics, both quantitative and qualitative, for new or existing products or business ventures. You will collaborate closely with engineering teams to ensure that product development aligns with user needs and market demands, driving the success of the Compute team at Google.
