Who you are

You have 8 years of experience in product management or a related technical role, with a strong background in taking technical products from conception to launch. You understand the intricacies of Cloud, Compute, SaaS, and enterprise technologies, and you have a proven track record of driving product goals and go-to-market strategies. Your experience includes managing day-to-day technical and design direction, ensuring that products meet both market needs and technical specifications.

You possess a deep understanding of compute architecture, data center infrastructure, and CPU technologies, including x86 and Arm. You are familiar with operational aspects of cloud servers and have insights into locally attached storage systems and performance needs for enterprise applications like MSSQL or SAP HANA. Your ability to communicate effectively and influence decisions across various levels of an organization sets you apart as a leader in your field.

Desirable

Experience in bringing innovative, category-defining tech products to market is a plus, as is a background in managing cross-functional teams. You thrive in environments where you can collaborate with engineering, UX, marketing, and sales teams to prioritize initiatives and maximize return on investment.

As a Senior Product Manager, you will define the roadmap for the core infrastructure that powers Google Compute Engine (GCE), one of the world’s largest compute fleets. You will bridge the gap between long-range hardware planning and high-impact go-to-market strategies that drive substantial revenue. Your role is critical in helping global enterprises modernize their environments by delivering scalable, high-performance virtual machine (VM) solutions.

You will optimize the underlying stack to directly influence performance and sales programs, securing business and market share for new infrastructure products. Serving as a technical and business expert, you will engage with customers and partners, influencing executive stakeholders at major organizations. Your collaboration with engineering, UX, marketing, and sales teams will be essential in prioritizing initiatives that maximize return on investment.
