You have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. With 8 years of experience in program management, you have a strong background in technology assessment and R&D management within the energy sector. You are skilled in performing technical due diligence for energy projects and have a deep understanding of power systems and the integration of advanced energy technologies into the grid.

Your preferred qualifications include a PhD in a relevant engineering or scientific field, along with 8 years of experience managing cross-functional projects. You have experience in the development or deployment of 'first-of-a-kind' energy technologies, such as advanced reactors or novel energy storage solutions. You are adept at translating technical data into insights for executive-level decision-making, ensuring that all aspects of a problem are addressed.

What you'll do

As a Senior Technical Program Manager at Google, you will lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from inception to completion. You will partner closely with the commercial team to provide the technical foundation for agreements, ensuring that partnership structures and performance guarantees are technically sound. Your role will involve monitoring the global emerging energy technology landscape and maintaining relationships with startups, national labs, and academic institutions to keep Google at the forefront of energy innovation.

You will be responsible for building cross-functional roadmaps that align technical capabilities with commercial and sustainability goals.
