You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, along with 2 years of experience in software development using Java or Kotlin. Your background includes at least 1 year of experience with networking protocols, and you are familiar with data structures and algorithms. You have a passion for learning new technologies and solving user-facing problems, and you thrive in a collaborative environment.
Your experience extends to mobile application development and security software development, particularly with VPNs. You are versatile and eager to tackle new challenges across the full-stack, demonstrating leadership qualities in your work. You understand the importance of optimizing solutions for performance and power, especially in the context of Android phones.
Desirable
A Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field is preferred, as well as experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products. Familiarity with large-scale system design and distributed computing will set you apart.
What you'll do
As a Software Engineer at Google, you will design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance software solutions for both Android apps and operating systems.
