Who you are
You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience and at least 5 years of experience in software development using C++, C, or Python. You possess a strong understanding of software design and architecture, with 3 years of experience in testing, maintaining, or launching software products. Your experience includes developing large-scale infrastructure and distributed systems, as well as familiarity with compute technologies and storage architecture.
You have a Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field, and you bring 5 years of experience with data structures and algorithms. You have also held a technical leadership role for at least a year and have experience developing accessible technologies. You are versatile and enthusiastic about tackling new challenges across the full-stack, and you thrive in collaborative environments.
What you'll do
As a Senior Software Engineer at Google, you will work on projects critical to the companyβs needs, contributing to the development of next-generation technologies that impact billions of users. You will be responsible for designing and implementing software solutions that handle information at massive scale, ensuring best practices in code quality, efficiency, and testability.
