Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience and at least 8 years of experience in software development using programming languages such as Python, C, C++, Java, and JavaScript. Your background includes 7 years of experience leading technical project strategy and optimizing industry-scale ML infrastructure, including model deployment and evaluation. You have spent 5 years in a technical leadership role and another 5 years in people management or team leadership. Additionally, you possess 2 years of experience with state-of-the-art GenAI techniques, such as LLMs and Multi-Modal models.

You thrive in complex, matrixed organizations and have a strong ability to manage project goals while contributing to product strategy. Your technical expertise allows you to provide leadership on major projects, ensuring that your team of engineers can optimize their code effectively. You are passionate about evolving roadmaps to meet future requirements and infrastructure needs, and you excel at overseeing system designs within broader scopes.

What you'll do

As a Senior Software Engineering Manager at Google, you will drive technical project strategy and lead large-scale ML infrastructure optimization.
