Your background includes at least 3 years of experience in testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and you have a solid understanding of software design and architecture. You also possess 5 years of experience with data structures and algorithms, and have spent at least 1 year in a technical leadership role. Your experience developing accessible technologies makes you a strong candidate for this role.

What you'll do

As a Senior Software Engineer on the Defense and Consulting Engineering team, you will work on specific projects that are critical to Google Cloud's needs. You will scope and complete activities that extend beyond coding, including monitoring, release improvements, and documentation. Your role will involve delivering innovative, customer-friendly experiences that highlight the value of Mandiant Threat Defense. You will lead and influence design discussions, review code, and provide high-quality, actionable feedback to your peers.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that the software you develop meets the highest standards of quality and performance. Your responsibilities will include anticipating customer pain points and identifying areas for improvement in the feature roadmap. You will also have opportunities to switch teams and projects as you grow within the fast-paced environment at Google.
