Job Description
Who you are
You hold a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field, and you have at least 2 years of experience in software, firmware, and driver development using languages such as C and C++. You have a solid understanding of device drivers for peripherals like GPUs and PCIe Switches, and you're familiar with connectivity buses such as I2C and USB. Your experience includes using revision control systems like Git and Perforce, and you have a background in debugging, development, and testing within a Linux environment. You possess expertise in server system architecture, networking, or embedded systems, and you excel in problem-solving and technical innovation.
What you'll do
As a Software Engineer at Google, you will be responsible for developing the next-generation technologies that change how billions of users connect and interact with information. You will focus on system software integration to enable next-generation GPU Accelerators for Google Data Centers. Your role will involve data center GPU software, kernel driver, and firmware development, as well as integration and validation tasks. You will develop test suites that facilitate unit, integration, and system-level testing of our system software, ensuring high quality and performance standards are met. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive new product introduction (NPI) execution with a focus on development velocity and quality. Your contributions will directly impact the performance and capabilities of Google's infrastructure, allowing for innovative solutions that enhance user experiences.
