You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, along with 8 years of experience in software development. Your background includes 5 years of experience with design and architecture, as well as testing and launching software products. You possess deep expertise in data structures and algorithms, having worked in a technical leadership role for at least 5 years, guiding project teams and setting technical direction. Your experience in a complex, matrixed organization has equipped you to handle cross-functional projects effectively.
You are versatile and enthusiastic about tackling new problems across the full-stack, demonstrating leadership qualities that inspire your team. Your technical expertise allows you to manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables while facilitating alignment and clarity across teams on goals and outcomes. You thrive in environments that require innovative thinking and problem-solving, and you are eager to contribute to the next-generation technologies that Google develops.
What you'll do
In this role, you will work on specific projects critical to Googleβs needs, with opportunities to switch teams and projects as the business evolves. You will design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance large-scale software solutions that handle information at massive scale. Your responsibilities will include providing technical leadership on high-impact projects, influencing and coaching a distributed team of engineers, and ensuring that project goals are met efficiently.
