Who you are
You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, along with 8 years of experience working with SQL in applied research settings for consumer products. Your background includes proficiency in programming languages used for data manipulation and computational statistics, such as Python, R, MATLAB, C++, Java, or Go. You have a strong foundation in human-computer interaction, cognitive science, statistics, psychology, anthropology, or a related field, ideally with a Master's degree or PhD. You have extensive experience conducting UX research on products and have worked closely with executive leadership for 7 years. Your project management skills are well-honed, allowing you to navigate and adapt in changing organizational environments.
What you'll do
As a Staff UX Quantitative Researcher at Google, you will play a critical role in gathering insights about user attitudes, emotions, needs, and behaviors to inspire and inform design. You will collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams of UX Designers, Researchers, Writers, Content Strategists, Program Managers, and Engineers to create industry-leading products that deliver value for users and Google's businesses. You will lead research initiatives that drive ideas to improve products and services through research-driven insights and recommendations. Your responsibilities will include defining and evaluating product, service, and ecosystem impact, as well as overseeing resource allocation within projects. You will own idea and strategy discussions through research by analyzing, consolidating, or synthesizing what is known about user, product, service, or business needs.
