Job Description
Who you are
You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, along with 6 years of experience in product research within an applied research setting. Your expertise includes programming languages used for data manipulation and computational statistics, such as Python, R, MATLAB, C++, Java, or Go. You may also hold a Master's degree or PhD in Human-Computer Interaction, Cognitive Science, Statistics, Psychology, Anthropology, or a related field. You have a proven track record of conducting UX research on products and collaborating with executive leadership, ideally at the Director level and above. Your experience managing projects in a dynamic organization has equipped you with the skills to adapt and thrive in changing environments.
What you'll do
As a Senior UX Quantitative Researcher at Google, you will play a critical role in informing your team of UX designers, product managers, and engineers about user needs. You will examine existing data and product designs to generate hypotheses and plans for impactful research. Your responsibilities will include prioritizing and driving research initiatives aimed at improving user experience, effectively communicating findings to stakeholders, and ensuring that your research insights resonate with both experts and non-experts alike. You will collaborate closely with multi-disciplinary teams to gather insights about user attitudes, emotions, needs, and behaviors, ultimately inspiring and informing design decisions that enhance the usability of Google's products.
