Systems Engineer • Senior

Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or a related field, along with 5 years of experience working with mission-critical facilities. Your expertise includes working with industrial control platforms such as Schneider Electric and experience with Building Management Systems (BMS) for mechanical plants. You are familiar with HVAC sequences of operation and have a strong understanding of compliance requirements for pertinent codes and standards.

Your technical skills extend to digital signal processing and time-series analysis, and you have experience with optimization techniques including linear programming and convex optimization. You are proficient in programming or scripting languages such as Python, SQL, C++, and Java, which you have used to develop and manage security protocols for industrial control systems.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be part of the Data Center Engineering team, taking the physical design of data centers into the future. You will create and manage scopes of work, update internal design specifications, and maintain all controls and monitoring system interface documents. Your responsibilities will include developing protocols to manage critical operational data and analyzing trends related to power usage effectiveness to drive continuous improvement and plant efficiency.

You will collaborate with a team of engineers to optimize efficiencies and implement cutting-edge strategies for environmentally-friendly facilities. Your work will involve managing security protocols for industrial control systems and ensuring compliance with relevant standards. You will also be responsible for analyzing operational data to identify areas for improvement and implementing solutions that enhance the performance of our facilities.
