Who you are

You have a minimum of 9 years of experience in operations management and facilities management, with a strong background in critical facility operation management. Your educational background includes an Associate's degree, trade school certification, or equivalent practical experience in a related technical field. You are fluent in English, enabling you to effectively communicate with local and internal stakeholders. You possess excellent problem-solving skills and have experience working in data center environments, including building and operating infrastructure.

What you'll do

As a Data Center Technical Operations Manager, you will be involved in nearly every aspect of colocation operations, focusing on the operability, maintainability, and reliability of Google assets. You will partner with the Google data center engineering team, hardware operations, network infrastructure, and third-party data center vendors to ensure that all operations run smoothly. Your responsibilities will include performing operational assessments and risk analyses of third-party sites, as well as forecasting resource requirements based on data-driven insights. You will also provide technical expertise during incidents and coordinate the planning of critical activities, ensuring that stakeholders are informed about current work and decisions.
