Who you are
You have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience, along with 5 years of experience in program management. Your background includes 5 years of experience in cloud computing, specifically with transmission control protocol (TCP), internet protocol (IP), network programming, or capacity planning. You have a proven track record of managing cross-functional or cross-team projects, demonstrating your ability to lead diverse teams effectively.
Your experience extends to network engineering and deployment, where you've supported product features, services, and technologies, including networking protocols and SDN principles. You are adept at working with both technical and non-technical team members, ensuring clear communication and collaboration across all levels of the organization. You excel in defining system or process requirements and have hands-on experience building, integrating, or delivering large-scale networking systems and infrastructure.
What you'll do
As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you will lead complex, multi-disciplinary engineering projects from start to finish. You will work closely with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate effectively with cross-functional partners across the company. Your role will involve defining the scope of projects and developing, executing, or managing project plans for supported programs.
You will review key metrics related to your programs, monitor potential deviations, and define corrective actions for critical issues.
