You have a Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience, along with 5 years of experience in program management. Your background includes driving technical programs within networking or cloud infrastructure environments, showcasing your ability to manage cross-functional or cross-team projects effectively. You understand customer needs and advocate for technical solutions, ensuring that the projects you lead align with user requirements. Your expertise extends to distributed systems and high-availability architectures, which are crucial for the role. You also possess knowledge in hybrid networking technologies such as VPN, interconnect, SD-WAN, and network security, making you well-equipped to handle the challenges of this position.
What you'll do
As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you will lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You will work closely with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your role will involve influencing product and engineering roadmaps, aligning efforts with customer needs, and defining the future direction of hybrid networking at Google Cloud.
