Who you are
You have a Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience, along with 5 years of experience in program management. Your background includes at least 3 years in cyber threat management, cyber risk management, and security operations, showcasing your expertise in these critical areas. You possess a strong understanding of cybersecurity and privacy, and hold certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA. Your knowledge extends to network protocols and operating systems, enabling you to navigate complex technical discussions with ease.
You are adept at managing cross-functional or cross-team projects, demonstrating your ability to coordinate efforts across various stakeholders. Your communication skills allow you to articulate analyses and recommendations to executives while also engaging with engineers on technical trade-offs. You believe that a problem isnβt truly solved until itβs addressed comprehensively, reflecting your commitment to thorough solutions.
What you'll do
As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you will lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish, ensuring that all aspects of the project are aligned with organizational goals. You will work closely with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, and manage project schedules, ensuring that all deliverables are met on time. Your role will involve preparing and delivering briefings, assessments, and after-action reports to client executives and security teams, providing them with valuable insights and metrics analysis.
You will collaborate with the Google Public Sector team to serve a key municipal client, focusing on program management services for their Cyber Threat Intelligence team. This involves helping organizations collect and utilize cyber intelligence about threat actor groups and methodologies to enhance their security posture. You will be responsible for communicating findings and recommendations clearly to various stakeholders, ensuring that everyone is informed and aligned on project objectives.
