You possess a strong drive and a positive attitude, ready to tackle the challenges that come with being an Operations Associate at Gopuff. Your enthusiasm for the role is matched by your ability to work collaboratively with others, ensuring that operations run smoothly and efficiently. You are comfortable with physical tasks and can lift up to 49 pounds, as well as stand and walk for the duration of your shift. You are adaptable and can work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
What you'll do
As an Operations Associate, you will play a crucial role in the operations team by picking and packing items for dispatch to customers. You will receive and unpack pallets of products from vendors, ensuring that the physical inventory count matches the purchase order or invoice, and resolving any discrepancies that arise. Managing inventory and re-shelving canceled orders will be part of your daily responsibilities, along with cleaning and organizing the sales floor and overall facility. You will also manage waste and spoilage through strict compliance with FIFO practices, ensuring that products are handled safely and efficiently. Your role will involve contacting customers for substituted or out-of-stock items and using equipment such as carts, pallet jacks, and dollies to move products. You may also work in freezer locations periodically throughout your shifts, showcasing your versatility and commitment to the team's success.
