Who you are

You are a motivated individual who thrives in a hands-on role, ready to take on various operations responsibilities at Gopuff. You possess a positive attitude and are enthusiastic about the challenges that come with working in a dynamic environment. Your drive and perseverance make you an essential part of the operations team, where you will report directly to a Site Leader. You are comfortable working with a variety of equipment and handling products that may contain tobacco, nicotine, or alcohol. You are also capable of lifting up to 49 pounds and standing or walking for the duration of your assigned shift.

You have a general working knowledge of basic web-based software applications, such as Google G-Suite, which will aid you in managing tasks efficiently. You are flexible with your schedule and can work during peak shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and holidays. Your ability to adapt to changing circumstances and work fluidly is a key asset in this role.

What you'll do

As an Operations Associate at Gopuff, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that operations run smoothly. Your primary responsibilities will include picking and packing items for dispatch to customers, receiving and unpacking pallets of products from vendors, and ensuring that the physical inventory count matches purchase orders and invoices. You will also manage inventory and re-shelving of canceled orders, maintaining a clean and organized sales floor and overall facility.

You will be responsible for managing waste and spoilage through strict compliance with FIFO practices, ensuring that products are handled, scanned, and moved in a safe and organized manner. Your role will require you to stand, push, pull, squat, bend, reach, and walk during your shifts, as well as use carts, pallet jacks, dollies, and other equipment to move products efficiently. You will also contact customers regarding substituted or out-of-stock items, ensuring that they receive the best service possible.
