You possess a deep understanding of containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes. Your proficiency in programming languages, particularly Python, enables you to automate processes and enhance system security. You are familiar with infrastructure as code practices, using tools like Terraform to manage and provision cloud resources efficiently.

You are a collaborative team player who enjoys working closely with AI, engineering, and product teams to drive technical vision and implementation. Your strong communication skills allow you to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, ensuring alignment across the organization.

What you'll do

As the Founding Platform & Security Engineer at Gradient Labs, you will lead the technical vision for the platform and security aspects of our AI agent. You will have significant ownership in shaping the infrastructure that supports our cutting-edge AI solutions, ensuring that they are secure, scalable, and reliable. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and implement security measures that protect sensitive customer data and maintain compliance with industry standards.

You will be responsible for building and maintaining the cloud infrastructure that powers our AI agent, leveraging your expertise in AWS and containerization technologies. You will implement best practices for security, including threat modeling, vulnerability assessments, and incident response planning. Your contributions will directly impact the success of our platform as we scale and deploy our solutions across various cloud environments.

In this role, you will also mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of security awareness and best practices within the team. You will stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in AI and security, continuously seeking opportunities to improve our systems and processes.
