Who you are

You have a strong background in AI and machine learning, with hands-on experience in building and operating AI systems. You are familiar with frameworks such as LangGraph and LangChain, and you understand the intricacies of developing production-grade APIs. Your expertise in scalable data pipelines ensures that AI workloads are efficiently managed and executed.

You are skilled in designing workflows that incorporate intent interpretation and task decomposition, and you have experience with human-in-the-loop systems. Your knowledge of retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines, including the use of embeddings and Elasticsearch, allows you to create robust AI solutions. You are also adept at using MLflow for automated evaluation of agent behavior and outputs.

What you'll do

In this role, you will design and implement AI systems that automate compliance and editorial workflows, contributing to Guidepoint’s research enablement products. You will build and operate production-grade REST APIs to serve AI and agent capabilities, ensuring their reliability and quality in production environments. Your work will involve developing scalable data pipelines and background workers that support AI workloads and agent execution.

You will also be responsible for designing and maintaining retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines, utilizing embeddings, Elasticsearch, and various web-based sources. Additionally, you will develop and maintain automated evaluation pipelines for agent behavior and outputs, leveraging MLflow and related tools. Your focus will be on improving agent reliability, latency, and cost through effective prompt engineering and management techniques.
