You are an entry-level data scientist with a strong analytical foundation and a keen interest in the advertising domain. You have experience or coursework in Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence, and you are eager to apply your skills in a real-world setting. You are curious and data-driven, always looking for ways to improve processes and outcomes. You thrive in collaborative environments and are excited to partner with engineering and product teams to drive impactful results.
You have a foundational understanding of statistical analysis and are comfortable working with large datasets. You are familiar with the ML lifecycle, from exploration to monitoring, and are eager to gain hands-on experience in deploying ML models. You are committed to data privacy and ethical advertising practices, aligning with GumGum's mission to uplift and respect consumers.
What you'll do
In this role, you will support the development and deployment of Machine Learning solutions that enhance the relevance and value of ads across GumGum's platforms. You will work closely with the Engineering, Product, and Data Science teams to improve ad-serving performance and operational decision-making. Your responsibilities will include building and evaluating ML models, conducting statistical analyses, and contributing to production ML systems.
You will have the opportunity to explore large datasets, identify trends, and derive insights that inform strategic decisions. You will also participate in the monitoring of ML systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
